Texas Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson visits Bell County on behalf of Ralph Sheffield
Hilton Garden Inn, Temple
Ralph Sheffield, Republican candidate for State Representative from District 55 in Bell County, welcomes Texas Land Commissioner, Jerry Patterson. Commissioner Patterson, a former State Senator and Vietnam Veteran, has long been a dedicated friend of the veteran community. As Chairman of the Veterans Affairs Committee in the Texas State Senate, Mr. Patterson was instrumental to the implementation of programs such as the Texas State Veterans Home Program that have helped to pay back those who served our country. Since being elected to the post of Texas Land Commissioner, Mr. Patterson has also fought hard for private property rights and innovative ways to address the growing domestic energy crisis. “I think Commissioner Patterson’s visit demonstrates that I will be able to work with our local, state, and federal officials to get things done for Bell County.” Sheffield added, “Commissioner Patterson has spent his entire life serving his country and the State of Texas, and it is humbling to know he feels I will be the best person to represent Bell County in Austin.”

Precinct 108 Meet-and-Greet
The Home of Kat Johanns
Dear Precinct 108 Neighbor, You are cordially invited to attend a casual gathering at my home in Academy on Sunday October 5th, to meet and support our Republican candidate for District 55 of the Texas House. Ralph Sheffield came to Little River-Academy twice during the primaries to talk to folks and go door-to-door seeking support for his candidacy. And Little River-Academy responded in a positive manner. He is a small businessman…a person who understands the concerns and challenges of the smaller communities in Bell County, as well as the importance of our agribusiness to the economy. He even received the endorsement of the Texas Farm Bureau. Mr. Sheffield is knowledgeable on the issues impacting all our lives and he is a personable individual who listens to his constituency. We truly need him to represent us in the Texas House of Representatives. He and his wife Debbie have lived in Bell County about 30 years and raised their four children here. They own and operate the Las Casas Restaurant in Temple. The event will be at my home, 407 North 1st in Academy, Sunday, October 5th, from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M., with refreshments being served. So please come and visit awhile and get to know Ralph and Debbie and take this opportunity to ask questions and show your support for the efforts he is making to represent us in Austin. It would be helpful if you could let the Sheffield Headquarters know of your attendance. Their number is 791-5551. Thank you very much. Your neighbor and supporter of Ralph Sheffield, Katharine Johanns P.S. This event is not a fund raiser, just a chance to meet and get to know Ralph and where he stands on the issues. That being said, campaign signs and bumper stickers will available, and your donation to offset the cost of printing is always helpful and appreciated.
